Gemeinsamer Retreat der Arbeitsbereiche für Internationale Beziehungen und Politische Theorie und Ideengeschichte

The Chair of International Relations and the Chair of Political Theory and History of Ideas recently held a joint retreat at Chalet Giersch to exchange ideas on the current state of research and to plan future projects. The seven-day event was attended by a total of 16 staff and guests from both chairs.

Discussions during the retreat focused on the current research projects and initiatives of the two work areas. Overviews of ongoing projects were provided and plans were made for future projects. Thematic emphases of the retreat included biodiversity, climate, and university policy, as well as social conflict in the democratic history of ideas.

The retreat provided an opportunity for the two chairs to further develop their research. The discussions held at the retreat provide a solid foundation for close collaboration.
