Seven core programmes are offered at our institute. There are two Bachelor programmes:

In Darmstadt, you can choose from three Master's programmes offered at the Institute of Political Science in Darmstadt or in cooperation with the University of Frankfurt (*):

Research
Research at the Institute of Political Science enjoys an excellent reputation both nationally and internationally. For many years, the common focus has been on research into new forms of governance in multi-level systems. Our current research work concentrates on the following interconnected main research areas:

- Energy and Climate Policy Transformation
- Standards of Governance
- Federalism and Democracy
