From April 2016 until April 2023, Katharina Kleinschnitger was a research associate at the Chair for “ Comparative politics and European Integration” led by Prof. Dr Michèle Knodt. She was also Program Area Coordinator and Scientist at the LOEWE Centre , Network Manager of the emergenCITY funded by the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme of the EU and Managing Director of the COST Action ENTER. In addition to her work and teaching at the Institute, she was project coordinator in the BMWi-funded joint project “PaEGIE: Participative Energy Transformation” of the TU Darmstadt in cooperation with Fraunhofer IGD, which she continues to support as project advisor. Previously, she was Managing Editor and Copy Editor of the German Political Science Quarterly (PVS), published by the Board of the German Political Science Association (DVPW). She also worked as a research fellow in the project ”Crisis, Conflict and Critical Diplomacy” (C3EU). Katharina is a doctoral candidate at the Institute and conducts research on media perceptions of the EU's external relations within the framework of the Eastern Partnership.
