Alice Engel works as a research associate at the chair for “Comparative Politics and European Integration” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Michèle Knodt. Since the beginning of the year 2020 she is part of the interdisciplinary research project “emergenCITY” funded by the Government of the Federal State of Hessen and focuses on the resilience of the digital city. Before joining the research project, she was part of the research training group KRITIS, where she conducted research on the preparedness measures of German cities against long-lasting power outages.
