Prof. Knodt gives keynote speach at International Symposium on Energy System Analysis (ISESA) in Stuttgart

A big thank you to my colleagues Kai Hufendiek and Patrick Jochem from STRise (Stuttgart Research Partnership on Integrated System Analysis for Energy) for inviting me to give a keynote at the 2nd International Symposium on Energy System Analysis (ISESA) in Stuttgart, October 13–14, 2025.

The event not only marked the 10-year anniversary of STRise, but also brought together brilliant minds tackling the theme:

“Implementing the energy transition: Holistic challenges and solutions for resilient energy systems.”

It was a pleasure to contribute with my keynote on

“Navigating Complexity: Coordination across Institutions and Levels in Energy Policy”, drawing on insights from the Kopernikus-Projekt Ariadne and Metal Energy Hub / Clean Circles projects Technische Universität Darmstadt
