Together with colleagues from 20 other European countrieswe survey members of political networks on the local level which are bridging local state and local civil society. The aim of the project is to create knowledge about recruitment and notions of people which are involved in those networks and the networks themselves. In Germany, we survey

  • the members of migrant's councils (“Ausländerbeiräte”) in all cities with more than 10,000 inhabitants;
  • the members of the youth welfare committees (“Jugendhilfeausschüsse”) of all county-exempt cities;
  • the members of the councils of the local job centers in all county-exempt cities;
  • the members of the administrative boards of the local labour agencies and
  • the members of the councils of local business development agencies in all county-exempt cities.

The survey is running since summer 2020 and ist estimated to be finished in winter 2020. After that, data will be analysed.
