The Research Training Group ‘Critical infrastructures: construction, functional crises and protection in cities’ at the Technical University of Darmstadt started its research activities on October 1, 2016 and has just been extended in the second round until 2026. In the College, which is sponsored by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation), historians, infrastructure and land use planners, civil engineers, philosophers, Prof. Dr. Michèle Knodt as political scientist, architects and IT specialists work together.
